Our mission is to improve the quality of life of all members of our University Community by providing a safe and secure environment for persons and property. We will work within the framework of the Constitution to enforce laws and preserve the peace, protecting the rights of all while applying the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and accountability, in partnership with the entire University community.

The department is committed to the prevention of crime, protection of life and property while remaining sensitive and impartial to the citizens within the community, while continuing to strive for excellence in every service that we provide.

The Terrell Police Service's 36 full-time officers and investigators and 8 volunteer reserve officers work in partnership with the entire community to protect life and property, prevent crime, enforce the law, and preserve the peace through efficient and effective police services.

Our mission is to effectively serve and protect the citizens of Waco. Organizational values of the City of Waco, such as commitment, quality, integrity, courtesy, and teamwork will be implemented through the daily operations of the Department.
