This series, available for use only on microfilm, includes claims for payment, reimbursement, or restitution submitted by citizens to the Republic of Texas government from 1835 through 1846. It also includes records relating to Republic pensions and claims against the Republic submitted as public debt claims after 1846.

Texas State Cemetary Burial Search
Welcome to the Texas State Cemetery, the Lone Star State's version of Arlington National Cemetery. The Cemetery is where some of Texas' most notable citizens are buried and where we honor our history. Efforts to establish the Texas State Cemetery began in 1851, with the death of General Edward Burleson. Burleson served with Sam Houston in the Battle of San Jacinto and as Vice President of the Republic of Texas.
