Texas Regional Community Policing Institute (TRCPI) - Huntsville, Texas

Through a cooperative agreement with the Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS), Training and Technical Assistance Division, in Washington, D.C., the Texas Regional Community Policing Institute was established to serve as a resource for Texas law enforcement agencies by providing information, training materials, and other support for law enforcement professionals who seek to adopt more of a community orientation in their policing activities.

Two Unsolved Murders Make For Trying Times

Garcia, 45, was found dead outside Central Baptist Church on Oct. 27. Haskell, 83, was found beaten to death in his home Oct. 29. Police have yet to solve either killing.

Unsolved Murder Of Justin Dominic (Sebastian) Smith

According to the Lake Jackson Police, JUSTIN was last seen alive at approximately 11:15-11:30 pm on Saturday July 17th 1999 by a friend he spent the day with, a neighbor across the street that saw him leave, and another neighbor witnessing him traveling on foot.. He was traveling on foot, east, from the 100 block of Coffee Lane (Plantation Village Subdivision) heading east towards Avacado St., in route of coming home. He was scheduled to work early the next morning.
